If you're a Mom, I hope the folks in your life made this Mother's Day special. The Life Teen Core Team was "off" last night to spend the afternoon/evening with their Mothers and families. So with no Life Night to plan for last week, I was able to focus on a few other things like...
PARENT UPDATES. I'm sure you have noticed the different format of the Parent Update emails. I am experimenting in the wonderful world of technology. Thank you in advance for your patience.
OUR WEBSITE. Visit our website (divinemercylifeteen.weebly.com). There is now a section just for you including Parent Updates. You can view our calendar, connect with me, or learn more about our programs for your children.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL. Long story short, we need adults. VBS this year is July 13-17. Areas that help is needed are: Decorating, Crafts, Music, Games, Bible Stories, and Snacks. Adults will be assisted by High School teens. Many hands make light work! If you would like to register your K-5 Grade child, visit the Parish Website. Forms are on the home page. If you would like to help OR register your High School child to help, contact me.
2015-2016 CONFIRMATION PROGRAM. My brain hurts. Joking aside, I'll get this info out ASAP just as soon as we finalize the details. This has been an exciting process as I love working with these students. This year's class is getting confirmed on Wednesday!
Thank you for your prayers and support! May God bless you and your babies during these last few weeks of school. May He shield you from any and all undo anxiety, and remove all need for us to call our children by their full names... at least for a little while. Have a GREAT week!
Ryan began using his gifts for the church shortly after high school starting with music ministry at his parish and then on to campus ministry at the University of Southern Mississippi. He has since also served as a parish youth minister and Coordinator of Adolescent Formation. Ryan shares the good news of the gospel hoping to compassionately inspire a response to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him and "become fishers of men." Ryan currently serves as full time Youth Minister here at Divine Mercy Parish.
